My greatest sympathy for your step to establishing
this place on your site for to share feelings and
thoughts on the desasterous events.

It is one more sign how deep the cut of the 11th of
september for all people of a free spirit really is.
The things I had to witness filled me with unspeakable
sadness.
How can anyone want and dare to execute with the
outragest brutality children and women and innocent
men in front of our eyes within the grasp of our arms
leaving no chance for us to help them?
We had to stand and watch in still agony while the
massacre goes on and on..
with no power to safe them..or to help..
These people did not only end seven thousand lives but
they killed something in our souls..
Now it is time for us to wake up and stand and fight

I do know this .... The world was attacked on Sept. 11th. Peoples from many
nations died in those attacks. Each was a hero or heroine in their own
right. And while I know that it may be too late for them to hear me, I would
sincerely wish that I could assure them of one thing. While we cannot
replace your presence for your loved ones, we will assist them in anyway we
can. Your loved ones will never be forgotten. Rest easy heroes and heroines.

To those responsible ... I would wish that they also would know one thing.
Justice is coming. When you leave your hideout to take a walk ..... look
around, check over your shoulder. When you try to relax or find a moment of
rest ..... expect a knock on your door. The methods will vary. You may all
of a sudden find your assets have been seized. You may suddenly find
yourself surrounded and handcuffed to face trial. As you sit around a remote
campfire with your friends reliving your temporary success on sept. 11, the
light of your worthless life may be simply turned off as a single shot
penetrates behind your ear. You may believe yourself to be in a "safe" house
as it disappears around you, taking with you those who seek to aid and abet
you. You believe yourselves to be experts on terror and its tactics.......

Like most people around the world I was shocked and
horrified with what I saw on my tv screen the
afternoon of sept 11 2001.
But i was pissed off when that dick (whos bigger than
any within your pages)Tony Blair jumped in with is big
mouth and said we will fight along side the americans

in conflict and living our shores open target to this
fundamentalists we have enough with other terror
groups blowing up our cities already.
Nobody would mind but if the shoe was on the other

The other thing the world gets sick of is America this

The only war we have thoght since 1945 is The
Falklands in the 80,s and we took care of business
there we have the elite SAS plus other crack teams

Firstly my sympathies to relatives of the victims of the Sept 11th attacks. I am sorry this happened.
Whilst not wishing to condone acts of violence in any form or terrorism in particular, the United States of America should really put its own house in order first. If you are going to go after state sponsored terrorism etc. what did the US do in Nicaragua? What the hell was Oliver North doing acting against a DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED GOVERNMENT? Why did he think he had congressional support for his actions? It's about time the US stopped acting like a schoolyard bully and started thinking instead of the kneejerk bullshit that the rest of the world so often sees come from what can otherwise be a pleasant place. So what if you're a Vietnam vet? You should know what body bags look like and remember what they contain. Yes, that was once someones kid/friend/parent/lover. Try not funding Noraid (all you "Irish Americans" the only thing that helps those poor women and children back home in the emerald isle meet is more violence) and perhaps we may be able to regard you as legitimate members of society instead of trainee yobs /gangbangers. I could go on and on but the number of occasions and incidents would turn this into a 300k email, (have I mentioned the white US suppression of it's own native peoples yet?).
A reasoned approach may work if the financial structure of an organisation is targeted, if not the other alternatives are fairly well descibed in The Prince (Nicolo Machievelli), but remember that moves against the Taliban in Afghanistan are not going to be easy and if a force becomes embroiled in conflict there it will not be hard to double or triple the 6000 odd missing after the world trade centre / pentagon /etc attacks.
Terrorism works because it is financially attractive. Work it out. To support the 20 or so primary operatives involved in Sept 11th and there families and pay for all the flight training, planning, lead in and back up over two years would be less than 1.5 million dollars. The cruise missiles that were launched in retaliation for the embassies attacks probably cost more than that each, Face it, you been bottom lined. They're your taxes, your children and your liberties you play fast and loose with.
I do not agree with the Talibans attitude to women in particular and in the name of human rights this is something that needs to be addressed but I would wager that there have been more than 6000 Afghanistanis killed for disagreeing with the current regime. The States didn't give a shit about them did it? Bit like Chile under Pinochet I guess.
It's time to stop the jingoism and talking shit and really think about what you are and what you stand for, it's time to take a really good look at yourselves and your position in the world.
Lets see a bit of honesty for a change.

We have a new administration and so far I think they are doing a very good job in dealing with this crisis, and they appear to be utilizing many tools: economic, investigative, diplomatic, and military, to mention a few.

And here's a bit of honesty for you: I honestly hope that the world is able to destroy terrorism in it's entirety (I seriously consider terrorism to be pure evil), and now that the USA is finally ready to do something about it, people like you make me want to puke. Before we should tackle terrorism, we should stop...wait...let's get our own house in order...let's go back in time and fix some mistakes we may have made...anybody have a spare Time Machine? While you have that Time Machine, why don't you go back and fix some mistakes made by whatever country you live in. If you think there is a country somewhere on this planet that has attained the perfection, the "utopia" that you apparently seek, then you go there and stay there. Terrorism works because it is financially attractive, and because there are fanatics who are purely evil enough to carry it out, and because there are people like you, who, when it comes to crunch time, are ready to denounce the closest thing to freedom that we have on this planet. As a fan of your website i must say that in addition
to visiting your site almost daily, i have spent more
time lately in front of the tele, or listening to
npr(national public radio) concerning the current
events. Suddenly, pleasure inducing things of a self
sexual nature have fallen way down my list of
importance. Thanks for posting your comments
especially in this realm of complete fantasy, it added
some thing real and reassuring to me. I may not visit
here so frequently as i have in the past, but im
confident i'll be back. Right now i think we should
all be facing some reality and standing up to it,lets
support our country and all its people, Christians,
Buddhists, Catholics, Muslims, Hindus, Pagans,

I saw a picture of a bunch of people doing a peace protest in Washington D.C. over the weekend. Do these people truly believe that there can be peace without cost? Do these people think that we could have put an end to Hitler's carnage at no cost? Without firing a shot? If so, then these people are incredibly naive fools.

Hitler led his people to war based on a bio-political ideology that made the aryan the superior race and all other races inferior. Anyone who defied this was to be destroyed. It was an inherently evil ideology. So also, these extreme Islamic fundamentalists have the ideology that those who do not believe as they do are the "Infidels" and must be destroyed. This is also an inherently evil ideology. There was no bargaining or reasoning with Hitler, and there is no bargaining or reasoning with these terrorists. They want to do away with our way of life. They want us destroyed.

Do these peace protesters truly believe that once these terrorists have nuclear or biological weapons capability they will not use it on the USA, Britain, Norway, Germany or any other freedom-loving nations? It is already a fact that Bin Laden has been seeking large quantities of uranium for the sole purpose of creating small "briefcase" atomic weapons that can be given out to his army of suicidal Islamic extremists. Will it take one of these small atomic weapons destroying much of an American city before these peace protesters realize that we are dealing with pure, unadulterated evil here? Possibly, for if the deaths of thousands of people in the World Trade Center atrocity was not enough to convince the peace protesters that we are at war with these evil terrorists, then I am certain that nothing will convince them. Thankfully, these fools are a miniscule group. The latest polls show that at least 90% of Americans believe we must use military force.

There is but one solution: we must destroy the terrorists before they destroy us. Anything less clears the path to further atrocities and the loss of life of thousands more innocent men, women and children.

I don't quite agree about what you said about sleeping giant. It's more like a giant pretending to sleep and which does anything possible to scheme and interfere with other countries and when things backfire on him. He suddenly wants everybody’s sympathy. In many emails I read about Pearl Harbor that was truly an unprovoked sneak attack on military targets. And off coarse let us not forget Lockerby where supposedly 2 Libyans bombed the plane while long before this so called justice was over it was well known that the Libyans where innocent but it where in fact Syrians who committed the crime. This sounds like a political cover up to me therefore the “sleeping giant" needed a scapegoat. I am not saying that Osama Bin Laden is the nicest guy around but even if he had nothing to do with it he will be a scapegoat.

Then last but not least: Remember Hiroshima where hundreds of thousands innocent civilians died in this ATROCITY against mankind. And was your president ever convicted of war crimes. NOT!!!!!

Again I would like to say that what happened is a terrible tragedy and I hope that the real man behind this is brought to justice.

Hedy Fry, the federal secretary of state for multiculturalism and the status of women, began the day with a call for women to speak out against inequality.

"This conference is about breaking the silence," Fry said.

"I can read what is going to be said about this conference: a bunch of radical feminists got together and they started to diss everyone."

U.S. authorities have named Osama bin Laden, the Saudi multimillionaire turned Islamic extremist, as the chief suspect in the suicide hijacking plot. The administration of President George W. Bush has been pressing the hardline Islamist regime in Afghanistan, where bin Laden is in hiding, to hand him over or face military consequences.

The polygamist Taliban regime is among the most repressive toward women in the world - denying them the right to work, go to school or show their faces in public - but Thobani dismissed the notion that America might be on the side of women's rights.

"It's really interesting to hear this talk about saving Afghani women," she said. "Those of us who have been colonized know what this saving means."

She ended the speech to a standing ovation when she called on the Unites States to learn the lessons of history.

"The West for 500 years has believed that it could slaughter people into submission and it has not been able to do so. And it will not be able to so this time, either," she said.

Fry left the conference shortly after Thobani's speech.

By the way, do you really think that the president of the United States has enough power to order a cruise missile strike to divert attention from who he is sexually involved with? I doubt it. If so someone ought to reel him in and limit this sort of power, otherwise we will have G W Bush spouting rhetoric in order to avoid ratifying treaties and protocols designed to save the planet, and using any excuse to divert attention from what he is n't doing.

More than 6000 people die everyday as a result of terrorist action, infighting between factions and civil war. Many of these are supported or instigated with American aid. Virtually nobody notices. Just because the US has a domestic security issue (none of those planes were international flights, the terrorists had been resident in the US long enough to obtain documents, train, etc...) everbody else now has to jump to the US tune. Work on domestic issues first and then lets see some evidence, before spurious actions are undertaken in the name of justice. Succesful military actions win votes (Thatcher UK v. Argentina '82) but this sort of gung ho electioneering has a price to pay in what is euphemistically called collateral damage. People. Military actions which are not popular cost lives and govermental stability (eg US at end of Vietnam war, USSR in Chechnya, USSR in Afghanistan, France in Indo China, East and West Pakistan and India, and what seems like most of Africa on a pretty much continual basis).

Six thousand people dying is wrong. No one can argue with that. What isn't needed now is the sanctimonious justification of irresponsible action by ostensible superpowers.

Lets not forget what repercussions may evolve, lets get in touch with reality. The rest of the world is out there.
