With the utmost respect many of the statements in particular those by
Zilla just
confirm to me just how AROGANT, IGNORANT, BRAIN WASHED and FOOLISH
the *average* United Americans is.
I love america and I love many of its people but to me Septemeber 11th
is clearly
caused by something. So many of you in the states have no idea just
how much blood
has been spilled in the name of your country and to protect your way
of life. It is time
you accept responsibility for the crimes against humanity YOU have commited.
Who practily wipped out the native American indians.
Who dropped TWO nuclear bombs in major japanease cities? Wouldn't one
have been enough?
Who thinks the death penalty is acceptable. Its NOT. It is MURDER.
And consequently
your constatution is a MURDERER
Who thinks its OK for people to have GUNS.
Who BRAINWASHES its people to the same extent as the NAZIS did?
Who pulled out of the Keoto agreement? Who put there fingure up to
the environment?
Which nation really has an EVIL DICTATOR?
Which country rigged its last election? Thats not very democratic!
Which people are BLIND to the realities.
Which people do NOT realise the majoritry of the world thinks you are
BULLIES.
It is time to stop PLUNDERING the rest of the world to protect your
way of life.
Realise while we may feel sympathy for those who died on septemeber
11th
it is nothing in comparison to the sympathy we feel for the MILLIONS
who have died
elsewhere
to ensure YOU can put GAS in your TANK.
If you travel the world you will open your mind to the realities. YOU
will realise that
things are NOT
as simple as you might think. Come to Europe where we are a lot closer
to Democracy
than you.
See the HATRED towards the USA in EASTERN EUROPE. WHY? WHY? WHY? I dont
know
but what I do know is I know very little and I HATE your PATRIOTISM.
It is Sickening.
America
is NOt the greatest nation on Earth. FAR FAR from it. America is a leach
that sucks at the
worlds
resources, impoverishing millions. YOU are to blame for so much suffering.
OPEN YOUR
EYES
PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES.

Zilla,
You have an excellent website, and I have great respect for you. I feel
that all people deserve respect, because they are all a separate being
with separate beliefs and so on. I am a fellow American. Certainly America
has a right to be angry about the Sep 11 attacks. And President Bush was
right when he said we should fight a war against terrorism. However, there
are several ways to fight that war. We do not have to start killing anyone
suspected of terrorism. To me, that sounds similar to the Salem Witch
Trials. Now, President Bush is considering waging war on Iraq because
he suspects that Saddam Hussein may have nuclear materials. Bush says
that he will not first get a resolution of support from the U.N. Security
Council for such an attack. And, White House lawyers have told President
Bush he would not need congressional approval to attack Saddam Hussein.
I feel that President Bush is angering the rest of the world, taunting
them with a stick. I don't understand it. I am losing faith in Bush very
quickly. And, I just wanted to mention to the rest of the world that while
President Bush may represent the United States and may deserve respect
as a President, he is not the United States. He is an individual, just
as we all are. Thanks. World peace, love, and happiness to my brothers
and sisters. |

This is to the ASSHOLE (from Britain) who posted message #18. Pal, you
are HYPOCRISY personified! I love England and our camraderie, but for
you to sit there and spout ignorant statements is more than I can stand.
In the past, the British oppressed ALL of the colonies and territories
they set foot in: India, China, South Africa, Ireland, the United States,
etc. In FACT, the British felt it perfectly fine to brutally subjugate
the peoples of color by excluding them from the society the natural wealth
created by stealing the resources of let's say South Africa (for their
gold and diamonds), building a comfortable society for themselves and
leaving the native populace to fight for the scraps that were left IF
ANY! My love for England allows me to forgive the natural rendency of
many Brits to look down their noses at most of the world. If we oppress
people, we respond to the cries of the populace and try to work things
out in such a manner that will benefit both sides equitably. We never
said that we were or are perfect. When Britain oppressed people in the
past, they cared NOTHING for the ones who were crushed under her heel.
You need to look a HARD look in a mirror, pal, 'cos you seem to be comfortable
living in a glass house. |

i am employed by the british security services. prior to 9/11 i was conducting
intel gathering operations in london against sheik omar bakri mohammed
(syrian born bin laden supporter) sheik omar wanted me to train "jihad"
fighters in london for dispatch to kashmir. this operation was stopped
prior to 9/11, neither the british nor the u.s security service departments
seemed intrested in on-site intel regarding islamic para-military action
and training.
i continue to infiltrate and destroy terrorist cells worldwide.
vengeance is mine!

I sent in #275 shortly after it all went down, and after re-reading it
today, I still stand by everything I said then. But after a year has gone
by, and we've all seen the events since, I must add a few things...
1) The Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall fell because the regimes in those
countries, who decried our Democratic way of life as "Evil",
could not succeed and prosper by trying to mandate everything. The State
owned everything. Despite years and years of propaganda, they could not
sustain a viable level of happiness and prosperity, because the people
did not receive enough benefit to keep them content. The people did not
have the freedom to do what they want, to own what they produce, to be
individually expressive. The people wanted what we take for granted, i.e.
happiness, liberty, prosperity, etc. The people chose - they want what
we have.
Freedom.
2) Our way of life, although it - by its very benefits - allows us to
become, often, blissfully ignorant of the suffering of the less fortunate,
gives us a nation that we support. Without the need for propaganda to
delude us into supporting it. Not that we don't have propaganda working,
even here, it's just that this nation does not need to rely on the smoke-and-mirrors
OF propaganda to force or fool us into thinking we're lucky or happy.
We KNOW we're happy, we KNOW we're successful, we KNOW we're free to express
our beliefs. Which is why we have a deep-seated love for our country.
A love that comes from within, not from without. This country - which
is not to say any certain administration, but this COUNTRY and its PRINCIPLES
- earns our respect and our love. Because, unlike so many other nations,
we have Hope. Which comes mainly from one thing we have so much of:
Freedom.
3) When the Towers fell, our hearts fell with them. But unlike the Towers,
or the Berlin Wall, or Communism, our hearts will not stay down. Because,
no matter what anyone takes away or destroys, we can always rise up from
the ashes on the wings of Hope. Because we have Hope, which is born of...
Freedom.
Confucius said "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in
rising every time we fall."
Which is why America is the success story of the modern world. Sure, we
fall. But we always - always - rise again. Our greatest asset is our people.
Our people's greatest asset is our Hope.
And our Freedom.
God Bless Us, Every One.

Today is November 17, 2002. It has been well over a year since the
cowards who deem themselves heroic martyrs killed thousands of people
of all races and religions on September 11th, 2001. I am sure they are
having a most unusual experience as they roast in the flames of Hell.
I just wanted to write a small letter to let the rest of the world out
side of America to let everyone know the condition of this country.
America is still here. Our stock market did not fail and collapse. The
unemployment rate is actually down since the terrorist attacks. Our
military is in good spirits, well equiped and highly motivated. Our
football games, basketball games, hockey games, and our baseball games
are still going. We Americans still go to our crowded shopping malls
and movie theaters and enjoy our selves, spending more money than we
should, but having a wonderful time doing so. We are also still enjoying
our night clubs, bars, NASCAR events, museums, Zoos, public parks and
churches (regardless of religion). We Americans do not take our country
for granted. Should anyone ever attempt to attack America again, the
same thing will happen. We will find the attackers, kill them, kill
there supporters, invade the country hiding them, remove their government,
enforce our American will however we feel to be appropriate, and after
all of this is done we will go to our football games, go out to our
nice restaurants, see a movie, take a long drive in our cars out in
the beautiful country side, or maybe even catch a plane ride to a nice
vacation resort. In short, we will still be here long after the terrorists,
the entire terrorist organization, the governments backing these organizations
and the countries supporting these organizations are removed, whether
by their own conscious choice or by their own blood, are long gone.
This is all also true should you attack our allies (United Kingdom,
Canada, etc.)
America is a big, strong and wealthy country. It is no wonder why so
many countries blame us for their problems. A person can hate America
as much as they want to and for what ever reason they choose. When you
attack us just keep in mind what will happen to your country, your government,
your organization, your family, your friends. Religious or not, we will
prevail over such cowardly acts of yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever.
God Bless The United States Of America.

Dear Zilla,
I am French and I have just discovered your website and all
the emails following your statement. Most of them are full
of hatred and blind statements and I can understand that as
a first reaction after 9/11. Other emails, more relevant,
try basically to ask why 9/11 happened and I think this is
basically a good starting question.
Ask also yourselves what will be the consequences of the
current US foreign policy?
A good book give answers to these questions:
The Rogue State by William Blum and published by Common
Courage Press
All arguments are backed by quotes of US politicians (from
all political parties) and extracts from old confidential
documents put into the public domain. I can tell you that
this is not pretty at all.
As a friend of the US, I recommend it to all US citizens
(and do not judge it as 'antipatriotic' or too 'lefty' by
simply looking at the name of the author. This kind of
reaction make me really angry because it is a blank
statement. READ BEFORE then give your opinion after).
You will see that the war on terrorism (that began before
Bush) is a dangerous waste of time. You will never be able
to eradicate violence by using violence (this is all the
more the case that terrorists, who are not irrational
people, are ready to die). As good Christians, all US
citizens should know that.
You want better solutions:
-Stop to impose your own economic model to the world (via
the IMF and the World Bank).
-Stop to control all international institutions for your
own profit: IMF, World Bank but also the UN (which contains
the International Court to which many US politicians should
be sued for war crimes).
-Help countries to develop by helping them to eradicate
corruption, to finance the education of their population,
to provide the basic needs. (you did it for Western Europe
after WWII, why can you do it now that you are richer than
ever?).
-All developed countries should do the same (and for the
moment they are going the wrong way). Share your wealth,
and your knowledge to improve the world!
Since the end of the WWII, the US, as all dominant
countries before the US (England, France, Germany and
others), has imposed itself to create its own empire. Doing
so, it has been one of the most violent State ever,
creating anger and frustration in numerous countries.
Too all people in the world: Think before talking (or
writing). And read, do not watch TV all the time or you
will be brain washed.

O.k...9/11/01 was tragic in everyone's eyes...or just about
everyone's eyes. But don't you think it's kind of suspicious
how the corporations/companies and their presidents and
owners are the only ones still dwelling on this? They're
making out like bandits with all their down-sizing, cut-
backs, lay-offs...etc....and they are still blaming 9/11!
The rest of the country has moved on...why don't these
people? There are grants and bills and everything else out
there to cover their losses but still...they are losing money
so they have to keep cutting back?....WRONG!
The only reason these people are doing what they're
doing is because it's putting more money in their pockets!
And as long as the government keeps letting them, they'll
keep killing the working people to put more money in their
own pockets! This is why it was so important for them to
get a republican back in office this last election...(i.e. the
whole ballot scandal thingy goin on) because a democratic
leader wouldn't have let it go this far!
The rich, republican, owners and presidents of this
country....the corporations and companies are doing more
damage to this nation's economy than any terrorists could
have ever hoped to do! I ask you now, are we all so sure of
who was behind all this?
Greed is a very evil thing. And it is proving that right now
as I type this. So many things are apparent that point a
finger, not at other countries but at our own rich, greedy
assholes. This will all be blown open real soon. Writings
and evidence as to the hows and whys are all coming!
Keep your eyes and ears open....and stay tuned...These
people deserve what is in store for them...And they WILL
get what is coming!
Justice and the working people of this country WILL
prevail! It's time to EAT THE RICH, people!!!
If I die of unnatural causes after this is posted when and
where ever I can get it posted, copies have been made.
Many TRUE Americans have been notified and there WILL
be investigations. Real Americans do not use patriotism,
God, other countries nor the people of their own country to
pull off what these people are pulling off. Real Americans
do NOT use the deaths of so many innocent people to do
what these people are doing.
Sorry if I have offended anybody but the truth WILL come
out!

From Zilla (and I hope you will send
your thoughts on this...send to webmaster@thumbzilla.com):
You probably missed it in the rush of
news last week, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan
had published in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed
an American, any American.
So an Australian dentist wrote the following
to let everyone know what an American is, so they would know when they
found one:
An American is English, or French, or
Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American
may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean,
Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani, or Afghani. An American
may also be a Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or
one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.
An American is Christian, or he could
be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in
America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America
they are free to worship as each of them chooses. An American is also
free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God,
not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government
and for God.
An American is from the most prosperous
land in the history of the world. The root of that prosperity can be
found in the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the God given
right of each person the pursuit of happiness.
An American is generous. Americans have
helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time
of need. When Afghanistan was overrun by the Soviet army 20 years ago,
Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back
their country. As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given
more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan.
Americans welcome the best, the best
products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best athletes.
But they also welcome the least.
The national symbol of America, The
Statue of Liberty, welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse
of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact
are the people who built America. Some of them were working in the Twin
Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their
families. I've been told that the World Trade Center victims were from
at least 30 other countries, cultures, and first languages, including
those that aided and abetted the terrorists.
So you can try to kill an American if
you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung,
and every bloodthirsty tyrant in the history of the world. But, in doing
so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular
people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human
spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is
an American.

Hello once again Zilla!
I wrote an email to you some time ago which you graciously published
on
your website. Thanks!
I have been most impressed by your efforts to allow individuals to
express
their opinions about what happened on that terrible day, and I am quite
sad that it seems to have come to an end, for some reason.
May I suggest to you that the recent events surrounding the possibly
impending
war against Iraq might be a good topic of conversation to initiate?
It is
very relevant in terms of fundamentalist points of view, and one could
unveil
some extremely interesting points of view about a very delicate and
possibly
highly dangerous subject.
I look forward to the possibility of a 'Sadman Hussein' page.
Yours sincerely,

Hi:- this is to try and give a canadian point of view. I strongly support
the war on terrorism as that day was indeed a brutal act of war and
an act of cowardice as well.
these groups that think that suicide bombings and killing of innocent
peoples is going to change the way we live are sadly mistaken. they
may have won the first round as we do tend to live in a bit more fear
these days since then, but they will lose the war as eventually- all
good free people that get caught in a situation amongst terrorists will
rise up no matter what the consequences to defeat them and that is what
they don't seem to understand.
also- altho canada is not helping much with the war in iraq, i hope
that americans are not pissed off because we are not in the coalition.
to even suggest that the canadian forces could be a force in this fight
is a joke to americans anyway. we canadians are known for peacekeeping
so my friends to the south-go defeat the enemies of democracy and hopefully
canada can contribute and help you in other ways afterwards. with all
the hope and good wishes i can muster during these trying times- i wish
you all well.

From a Brit,
In response to earlier criticisms, I keep hearing about British and
past European empires?
how long ago was that? do past British atrocities excuse you your own
now?
The main reason europeans get so wound up by this situation is that
they feel
that right or wrong, what ever the facts or the arguments put you will
plough ahead
regardless. We were told that war would be over in a jiffy, welcoming
arms, flowers thrown etc..
hasn't happened much yet. The excuse is that they are still scared of
Sadam, but the
American army scares them just as much.
The black and white view of the world, good and evil as Mr Bush presents
it
is dangerous, the last guy we heard that from was Osma. Im sure he thinks
hes right as well.
Don't worry everyone over here hates him as well, but nobody trusts
Bush.
What ever they have told you there the vast majority of Brits are still
against the
war, yet are view does not count in our own parliament, when your done
in Baghdad
could you come help us?

Greetings ZILLA,
We just found your site and the 11 pages (http://www.thumbzilla.com/america.html)
on the responses to the Tragedy at the Twin Towers and Pentagon. Well,
just to ADD TO THOSE opinions, here is what our org sent to the US PRESIDENT,
MR. BUSH and for the AMERICAN PEOPLE. You may chose to hide the html
addresses and also our names or not... it doesn't matter, its your choice.
Yet, thanks again for featuring such a voice and we hope that our response
will be informative... WE, AS ETHIOPIAN RASTAS ARE TOGATHER AGAINST
ALL FORMS OF TERRORISM!!! We also lost people in that tragic incident,
yet it wasn't the first time that such attacks have been against us...
yet as H.I.M. HAILE SELLASSIE I of Ethiopia said in a speech to the
U.N. in the 60s and BOB MARLEY sung about it as well... "...WE
WILL FIGHT, IF NECESSARY, AS WE ARE CONFIDENT IN THE VICTORY OF GOOD
OVER evil...." BOB MARLEY's "WAR" SONG was based on these
words of our King of kings... We the NEW GENERATION continue the works
of TRUTH and RIGHTS, LOVE and LIGHT. We also say thanks for being as
"concientious" to even include such on your site... It surprised
us when the link was given, because most would think otherwise. Yet,
thank you and feel free to use or not-use our link. We are servants
of our scattered people and are not ashamed to stand with those who
are speaking against terrorism, especially the 9-11... which still makes
us feel sorry for the innocent. We must be READY cos there most likely
will be more - in America and also in Africa as the two attacks by Al
Qaeda have already hurt us - WE WILL FIGHT AND DEFEAT TERRORISM and
these attacks against the innocent. Thank you for this opportunity to
give our voice with those who are concern and willing to "GET UP,
STAND UP.... STAND UP FOR OUR RIGHTS!!!"
ONE LOVE,
RAS IADONIS,

Hey zilla, cool site. Anyway...
My Dad also was a vietnam vet, and we share the same opinions on most
of
this war, whether its Saddam's palace or in Afghanistan. And we are
still
angry. I have seen people with flag shaped bumperstickers that say "America
United" as they drive down to join the local protesters against
the war.
Whatever. As the months have passed, I have seen alot of America settle
back
in and forget what happened, trying to get rid of the smell of the smoke
that still lingers everywhere. And it makes me sick. I get sick when
I see
parents using there kids as pawns to hold signs saying give peace a
chance.
These kids barely know how to wipe their own ass and they want this
peace.
Obviously all these people have forgotten the price freedom comes as.
Blood.
Go to any blood bank and find out how rare and precious this accomodation
is. Yes peace people, I know you support our soldiers and blah blah
blah.
Lord knows you don't want to be the next Hanoi Jane. Most of them have
no
room to talk. They have never been in a war. Never had to run for your
life.
Never had to realize that this next incoming round might be the last
one you
hear. And they talk. And they protest. Funny, maybe we should have protested
when they hijacked the planes and told them to give peace a chance,
they
would have thought it over and said "Awww ok..." And landed
all soft and
snuggly. Maybe we should have protested to Saddam that killing thousands
of
his own people BECAUSE THEY PROTESTED HIM is wrong and he needs to give
peace a chance, maybe he will listen. oops I guess its too late to ask
him
that... darn. How about if you take your signs and children, go to the
west
bank or the Gaza Strip and protest against war there? Tell all them
to give
peace a chance. No? Why not? Exactly...cause you are all nice and warm
in
your own pile of shit arent you? You would never go there to do that
cause
you and your kids would be shot dead. I don't like war. I don't like
that
people have to die. But they do. But we should not give up. We will
get
comfy again and these monsters will be back. I guarantee you that. And
it
might be your town, your school where your kids are at. The first trade
Center attack happened in 1993, and we got all comfy again. We didn't
learn
from the past and we repeated it. These sick people will not give up.
We all
are their enemy whether you had something to do with it or not. They
don't
care and never will. Make sure to ask them to give peace a chance when
they
stand above you and they let the hammer fall. By the way, I am Apache,
and I
will tell you this; Yes our way of life was changed, yes our numbers
were
decimated, and yes, 'they' took our land. BUT,the truths came out about
us.
Just like the truths of the black man and the chinese and the mexican
etc.
came out. But if it was not them it could have been a monster alot worse
and
we could have been extinct. I have forgiven all my anscestors enemies,
and
moved on. That still makes me an American. I got over it You do the
same.
Don't teach your kids this same hate. Yes bad things happened and all
the
truth is there, But that has nothing to do with anything when you are
at the
airport and some freak runs up to you with fifteen pounds of tnt on
his
chest and blows himself up in the name of 'Allah'. The last thing you
will
be thinking about is an American Indian...

How ignorant can you Americans be ??!!!
I am British and know no-one who feels regret at what happened to your
country on September the eleventh, two years ago.
Ok, so 3000 people died. Horrible.
What about the 40 million civilians murdered by America in various bomb
attacks on at least 25 countries since the end of the 2nd. World War?!!!!!
Your sad country is hated by the rest of the planet for its ignorance,
arrogance and aggression, the like of which is unmatched by any other
country on earth.
Your stupid, aggressive behaviour, in the quest for economic gain and
domination, is resented so deeply that you don't even see it.
Your children are less educated than europeans, fatter than any nation
on Earth, and stupid enough to believe that their country is superior!,
whan actually, you are the most undereducated (so if you know nothing,
you will believe anything, and thus do what they tell you) race of ignorant
shits on this planet. Your country is nothing , and so are you.
You don't even understand WHY the attack happened, for Christ's sake!!!!!!
Look at your cunt of a society!
Fuck you, sad bastard tiny sample of human existence.
ENGLAND HATES YOU. Along with the rest of the World. ASK WHY.

I read with some amusement the responses to your patriotic ramblings.
I want you to know that the rest af the world sees the US as the great
evil now. Your 'President' who was installed illegally in the first
place, an oil baron, has used 9/11 as an excuse to relentlessly pursue
his administration's goal of becoming the richest, greediest people
on earth. If what the US brings to other nations can be described as
generous then I'd rather be poor thankyou very much. Oil is all that
matters to America now. But it's running out, and I personally can't

P.S. Your 'Crying Eagle' is easily the tackiest piece of work I've seen
in a long time. I nearly wet myself when it appeared on screen. Bird-brained
indeed.
regards,
(name) - British email address.
And...I read with slight disdain
your rather pathetic attempt at snobbish sarcasm; nevertheless, I keep
in mind the fact that your point of view is just as important as anyone
else's. Isn't it funny that there are so many points of view, each so
different, yet the purveyors and holders of those points of view each
thinks his is the one that is right...the one that is correct? You obviously
think that yours is the superior point of view, yet I must point out
that for you to say, "I want you to know that the rest af (sic)
the world sees the US as the great evil now", is rather stupid,
don't you think? How can you purport to speak for the rest of the world?
If, as you said, you read the responses to my "patriotic ramblings"
(and what are yours... Sarcastic ramblings?), then it should be clear
to you that there are indeed points of view, presumably also on this
planet, that are quite different than yours. If that superior intellect
of yours requires that you read again those responses to my patriotic
ramblings, then, hopefully, upon your having done so, perhaps it will
somehow succeed in reaching that most elementary conclusion. Nah. I
doubt it. You hold your point of view just as strongly as any of the
others. And I think that is great. And that is why I post these points
of view here :-) Have a good one, Brit. (-)Zilla(-)

Hello.
I have just read several of the postings here, and, speaking as a =
British ex-pat, am disgusted with most of the comments from fellow =
Brits. Did they actually enjoy the terrorist activities of the I.R.A.,
=
and that it was wrong to try and stop them? Short-term memory loss can
=
be cured I believe.
I just felt that I had to say that I am completely behind the decision
=
by the British and American governments to go into Afghanistan and later
=
to hunt for Hussein in Iraq. That's saying something, because I think
=
Tony Blair is a liar and all-round idiot. For once he followed his heart
=
and did what he thought was right.
Britain used to be Great, but not any more. People such as those who
=
posted the letters condemning the USA and Britain are responsible for
=
that, stood waving their white flags or white feathers. We should all
be =
grateful to nations who are willing to stand up to tyrants and =
dictators, as the British did in 1939. What sort of world would it be
=
now if we hadn't? One thing is for sure: the whole of Europe would be
=
singing 'Deutschland, Deutschland uber alles' every morning.
What you read before is not the view of a whole country. Even though
I =
no longer live in Britain, I still have a British passport and still
a =
British opinion.
To read these pages brought back terrible memories of Sept 11 2001,
and =
I'm still saddened that something so horrific could be committed by
a =
member of the human(?) race.
We have to continue what we're doing in the Middle East and other places
=
in the world, and shouldn't forget the armed forces from all across
the =
globe who are there now. My thoughts go out to you and the families
who =
want to have you back at home. You have, though, an important job to
do, =
and may God help you to finish it quickly.
I for one am proud to say that I would stand next to each and every
=
American, shoulder to shoulder. You are my brothers, my sisters, my
=
nephews and nieces, my aunts and uncles. You are my parents, you are
my =
children. You are my friends. You are my family.
May your God go with you.

Dear Thumbzilla Guy--
I am a 38 year old woman, an artist/writer/former sex worker living
in San
Francisco.
In these polarized times, I also consider myself a dissident, and am
completely
unashamed of my dissidence because my heart and mind tell me it's the
only
proper response to criminal theft, mismanagement, repressive extreme
acts and
all the other sorts of things the Bush II folks have vandalized their
offices by
doing.
It is not that I am against war, per se; my feeling is that if one
nation
attacks another, the attacked nation has every reason to defend itself
and
should be adequately prepared to do so. It should never be cheered on
when it
has flagrantly and obviously been fomented for profit and power alone.
The two-plus years separating us, at this point, from 9/11/01 have
seen turn up
some more solid evidence of what my gut feelings have been telling me
all
along about that event- and what really must be acknowledged as a massive
multimedia campaign to use it to galvanize the people of the USA into
something
cohesive and bellicose, VERY conservative, and distinctly non-democratic.
It's
a very old trick they're playing and it goes like this:
You tell the people over and over again that they're in jeopardy, in
imminent
peril of outside aggressive attack, you make just enough mayhem yourself
to look
like a plausible example of the kind of danger that awaits them...and
then get
the presses rolling doubletime full of repetitive drum-like headlines
and
soundbytes: saying in every way possible that "THEY (whoever the
THEY of the
moment may be) are gonna get you unless you let us save you from them
by buying
our protective services..." Hitler and Stalin and Mussolini did
it, Mafia dons
do it, kings, emperors, they do it. Anyone with enough power, enough
friends and
enough money to make mayhem and run a story can do it. (Mafia dons use
word of
mouth instead of news agencies, and make it even more effective and
scary.)
Once they have us good and scared, you spend a little time slowly taking
one
privelege after another away from them - all the while keeping up the
scare
talk, accellerating it here and there, letting it rest, building it
to crescendo
again...and do this until the citizenry is actually more afraid of you
than the
ominous enemy you scared them with, but is barely aware of it after
trusting you
so long and also not eager to be proved a fool, therefore VERY inclined
to
resist asking questions, even privately, for fear they'll not like the
answers...and it happens on some barely conscious level behind the mind's
eye.
When they're too powerless to conceivably be able to stop you once
they realize
what you've been up to, you takethem for every penny they're worth and
then
some. After which they will fight you. So you fight back, and win, because
now
you have a great huge load of your citizenry's wealth!
It's bloody ugly. It's the Game. I hate it and see how it kills us.
Since I write a column and also keep up with the research of the REAL
9/11
Commission, created by people like Mike Ruppert and Alex Jones, the
ones who are
asking questions about what happened instead of just making trite,
emotionally-stirring, hollow evasive statements like that made by Condoleeza
Rice...who had the nerve to say that we "ought to think more about
what 9/11 did
to us" than to think about who did it and why it got done.
Perhaps because the ones who have some part of the responsibility do
not wish to
have this discovered...and they know that as long as people remain emotional
-
angry, sad and scared - they have a very strong drive to surrender their
individuality to some version of larger common good, whether it is religious,
political, ethnic - or all of these things. In such a state of mind,
an
individual becomes much more willing to let go of his or her personal
freedom
and privacy, and much more likely to be willing to kill or to die for
that
larger thing that s/he has attached himself/herself to.
The current government, which is one we did not elect and is thus fraudulent
from the get-go ( The fact that Gore got the majority at final count
was
officially stated by the NY Times - oddly enough - in the first week
of
September 2001...how very convenient for the phony one that we didn't
elect, the
one who stole the office. Why have so many people decided to just sit
back and
allow this blatant attack on democracy to go completely ignored? For
one thing,
it would interfere with that warm fuzzy feeling of being at one with
the Big
National Eagle of Violence, Vigilance and Vicious Vengeance that the
Bush
politico-unit has been cultivating for the past two years. People don't
like to
be reminded that they've been DUPED. They like being RIGHT, not wrong.
However, we're going to have to admit we goofed on this. We allowed
Bush to
stay in office, never questioned his handling of anything even though
it's been
highly strange and often gallingly disturbing at times.
And all because of 9/11. While Bush STILL refuses to let the public
know what
happened to the black boxes from the planes. While Osama Bin Laden has
still
not been caught. While evidence of a LOT of foreknowledge in the form
of
strange money transfers and orders to stay off jets has shown up, more
of it all
the time. We want to believe in the perfect, Hollywood-movie styled
story of
Flight 93 since we were all raised in the constant presence of TV and
film,
where everything gets solved in 30 minutes to a couple hours or so,
and the
people look perfect, and are all either absolutely "good guys"
or "bad guys".
But it's time to look at a very real possibility that 9/11 has been
an "American
Reichstag" - in Hitler's Germany, the Reichstag (akin to a Parliament
building
or our Congress) burned down in a big non-accidental fire, and Hitler
built and
sealed his regime on the public outrage he and his propagandists drummed
up by
blaming the fire - which was started by their own people - on the opposition,
which at that time was Communists.
The facts - and omissions - surrounding Bush's people and 9/11 speak
for
themselves if you look for them and pay attention. But what REALLY convinced
me
was something else. Pay close attention to a video of his first speech
to
America following the attacks. Look at his face and listen to his voice,
and
you might hear and see how unsurprised he is - and even more chillingly,
how
utterly unaffected he is emotionally, even while his words wax into
mawkishness
and "griefsploitation" rhetoric. I have a strange gift or
curse, depending on
situation, of ALWATS being able to see RIGHT AWAY if someone lies by
watching
their face and listening to the tones of voice: either alone won't do
it, it has
to be the interaction of both at the same time for me to tell...because
it has
something to do with the affect of a SPECIFIC kind of stress that guilt
throws
the muscles into. This is not just schizobabble, it's what lie detectors
are
based on - I think they call it a galvanic response.
Mark my words, Bush did not just KNOW the attacks might happen: one
or more
individuals connected closely to him arranged it with the Saudis, although
whether it was for the benefit of themselves, Bush and Co. or someone
else
entirely...that part is not yet clear. Might be if he would allow an
actual
investigation, and not just this farcical "commission" made
up of people who
only parrot what he tells them to say...and distract the press from
the fact
that there are 20 pages of that 9/11 Report that he will NOT let ANYBODY
ANYWHERE look at. Maybe two years ago it would be logical that it would
disrupt
the effort to track down terrorists to hide data about 9/11, but to
do so two
years after the fact just smells badly fishy.
I see lots of angry, patriotic sentences sprinkled by you on these
pages so I
assume you support all the things Bush is doing despite the lies, the
weird
nonsense, the hiding for no reason...but if you're a true patriot, I
beg you,
look at what could be happening here and please join those of your fellow
countrymen and countrywoman who have been calling attention to the discrepancies.
Thanks for considering these words.
Please visit one or more of these three links - there are scads more
I could
list but instead these are two starting points and a third is a page
full of
links to skim...not only covering 9/11 skepticism and questions unanswered
pertaining to that day's events, but other topics in the field of what
I have
lately come to call "transpiracy research" - I respond to
people who call me a
conspiracy nut with the answer that I am not a conspiracy researcher,
but a
transpiracy researcher - the difference being I can deal with being
proven wrong
while certain species of paranoid kook find it virtually impossible.
it's not conspiracy we are trying to prove ABOVE trying to find out
what
happened, i.e. what actually transpired.

Oh Lucy, You Got a lotta Splainin' to Do
If I were you I'd start here - I think it's probably the best one on
the site.
911 Timeline - http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/project.jsp?project=911_project
really gives one a look at the vast amount of LOOSE ENDS we are looking
at in
the official story
FTW Link List
I ought to mention I have never before in my life even thought of shelling
out
twenty bucks to see a guy and his friends give a whole afternoon of
presentations and talks. I did last week and am glad I did, I learned
much and
was never confused or bored because he's good at it. I do not like that
FTW has
a 'subscriber area' and will be notifying him of my feelings on this...I
dont
think ANY one should be profiting from 911, us included. If he just
charged
enough to maintain the site it would be acceptable to me but seems to
charge
slightly more than he ought to...[shrug]
still, he is the #1 authority on the subject - and of all things an
ex-narc,
someone I never dreamed I'd be on the same side of any fence with...what
strange
changes these times bring.

Post Note:
Ironically, I'd come to your site to get away from the politics, the
pundits,
all the florid drama and emotion and immerse myself in some healthy
libidinous
energy. I picked your link from a page of similar ones, and after fishing
myself through your ad splashes, I find myself looking at an eagle and
a 9/11
page.
I came THAT close to putting a hole through my fucking monitor...then
calmed down.
Maybe there ARE a FEW places where it would be nice not to have to
be confronted
with even THINKING about airplanes full of screaming people colliding
with
office buildings - surely one of them is a site people go to for sexual
arousal?! Hel-lo?
You support Bush very strongly for someone with an adult website -
if his people
have their way, and if they are elected (or steal the election a second
time)
they may come to be slowly ceasing to exist. I know the things make
money but
not that much...because making them is my livelihood, or rather part
of it.
I am not asking you to consider all I wrote above for me.
I am asking you to consider it for the United States.
And those "freedoms" spoken so loudly of...
and diminishing...one by one.
Normally, as those of you who have
read these pages know, I do not post the web site address when someone
refers to a website in their email. In the above email, however, I did
include the web site addresses to which the writer refers. I think that
this email is interesting, intriguing, and well-written. It is spoken
from the heart by an American who, I believe, is what this country is
all about: the freedom of speech and thought that drives this country
forward and is the engine of change that always pushes the cycles of
our ever changing government. It is freedom of speech that helps strike
the balance whenever things get too far out of balance in our great
country. Thank God we do not have a one-party system in this country
of ours. Thank God for patriots who are from the many parameters along
the political spectrum in this great country of ours. When the time
for change comes, they shall be the ones who are the spark, the catalyst
of that change.
Those who do not vote deem themselves
to be irrelevant. Those who do vote will be the voices of the American
people. No matter what your political persuasion or your ideological
belief, be sure you have registered to vote! If you do not vote, then
you are trashing the greatest privilege and the most awesome power that
you as an American have. This is the year 2004, and in November we shall
elect a new president, or re-elect our current president. You have the
power to be a part of that decision. If you have not registered to vote,
then you must, as a meaningful American, register as soon as possible.
And, when the day comes, you must, in all good conscience, go and utilize
your power and cast your vote! Fail to do this, and you pretty much
become a meaningless American.
